Aurora Graphics #2 Poster #177

The poster creation number two of the freshly created mini-series named Aurora Graphics.

The Design

I started this poster in a pretty bad way as you will notice in the video below. I painted circles with the Brush Tool and play them with the Filter Liquify. I tried to give them a color effect and tried many different blending modes without finding the perfect setting, and until I did something very dark.

Then, I started over, and I used Apollo’s picture to liquify it and find an elegant form to compose wi​th. I added some blend mode, a Gaussian Blur background behind the form to suggest a distance.

After that I added a large font. The principal​ challenge of this poster was about to find the right balance​ between the colors.
