Atomic Geometry #6 Poster #440

About the Poster

I am trying to make the process in Illustrator CC faster, but it is nearly impossible. If you have an idea, please, contact me! I need some help!
As usual, I created a compound grid, with several grids realized with the Rectangular Grid Tool and one with the Polar Grid Tool.

Once I made the grid and be happy with it; I started to select areas inside and remove the anchor point inside. After I realize the shapes, I take the Live Paint Bucket Tool and color the areas I want. I copy-paste the shape four times and turn each to an additional angle of 45°.

I imported the shape into Photoshop. At this time, things are going better to my motivation — the vector process takes too much time. I used Photoshop Filters on the shape, such as the Pixelate, Gaussian Blur, and Motion Blur. I also added vectors in Photoshop in between the shapes. To know the rest of the process, take a look at the video below.

Another time where I accelerated the “Illustrator” part of the process. I spent more than one hour only on that.
Come back tomorrow to discover Atomic Geometry number 7!
Have a nice day!
