Aslant by Severino Canepa: overlapping navy and olive pointed forms, pale grey triangles, cream and blue planes, and an ochre strip at right, crossed by a broad coral diagonal against white.

Aslant

In Aslant, I experimented with triangles to explore how simple shapes can create direction and depth. Navy and olive points rise through the composition, while a coral diagonal draws the eye across them. Their overlapping planes suggest folds. I like how this digital painting finds movement in the way its shapes meet, each angle changing the balance of the whole.
