It was Sunday; it was sunny. I made a poster bit by bit that I titled with a strange name.
The design
I started this poster by setting up a black background and painting a circle with the paintbrush. I used a different kind of purple that I tried to modify with the Photoshop Filter Liquify. Unfortunately, the result wasn’t good, so I used the Transformation Warp on the circle. I duplicated the circle three times and generated different forms with it. I also set up a Gaussian blur.
Then, I cut some parts of the picture of Apollo and duplicated them. I added a text because the name came to my mind while creating the poster, and I decided to use it as part of the design. After that, I added some small circles and two lines.
Speed Art Poster #172
Look at the Speed Art Video about the conception of “Apollo Won’t Last. ” It may be interesting to watch me working on this poster.
I see you tomorrow for poster number 175!
