Apollo 4 – World Braille Day
Today, the 4 January 2019 is the World Braille Day! We celebrate Louis Braille’s birthday. He was born in France, and he is the inventor of braille. This is the reason why I call today’s Poster “World Bray Day”.
About the Poster Design
For this occasion, I used the words “Happy New Year” written with the Braille Language System.
Graphically speaking, the Braille system made with round shapes allows me to play with simple geometric forms.
The Braille is the white rounds surrounded by colorful gradients. I use white for imaged blind people’s experiences when touching the paper — according to me only — it must be cold and austere. The colorful gradient stands for the effect of reading. What that does to your brain. The pictures that come to your mind, the feelings words provided to the reader.

Video montage takes a lot of time. It brings many troubles, and that is a headache when you start to deal with it.
