Apollo 4 – World Braille Day

Presentation of the fourth Design Poster named World Braille Day

Today, January 4, 2019, is World Braille Day! We celebrate Louis Braille’s birthday. He was born in France and is the inventor of braille. This is why I call today’s Poster “World Braille Day.”

About the Poster Design

The Poster Design number 4 named World Braille Day

For this occasion, I used the words “Happy New Year” written in the Braille Language System.
Graphically, the Braille system, which uses round shapes, allows me to play with simple geometric forms.

The Braille is the white rounds surrounded by colorful gradients. I use white to represent blind people’s experiences when touching the paper—according to me only—which must be cold and austere. The colorful gradient stands for the effect of reading—what that does to your brain, the pictures that come to your mind, and the feelings words provide to the reader.

World Braille Day Speed Art Making Off

Video montage takes a lot of time. It also brings many troubles, which can be a headache when you start to deal with it.
Whatever I made the World Braille Day Speed Art, and the video is available on YouTube.

Take a look at the third design poster entitled Sleepless Night.

I hope this Design inspires you. Or at least it gives you the motivation to start your side project!
Have a nice day and see you tomorrow for the next Poster Design.
