Before starting this Poster Design Challenge, Apollo 365°, I told myself, “Two hours will be enough; I won’t have to work more on that.”
Yes, for some of the Posters, but not for all of them like “Askew.” There were two days that I designed without sketching before, and I finally noticed and knew that it was a bad idea to do so.
About Askew Poster Design #17
Firstly, I wanted to use a pure white background for change, but along the way, this little wish got lost in the interest of the global aspect of the poster. I wanted to continue exploring the idea of Poster #15, “Pastelight,” about cutting and expanding Apollo’s head as a starting point for today’s creation. I started to cut the statue as well as possible and played with the cutting lines until they looked good.
Askew Conception
Making Off
This one took me a long time to create, and I noticed that I messed up yesterday’s video. It simply doesn’t work, and I don’t know why.
Today’s Poster Video works well, and I hope you enjoy seeing my process for this design.
See you tomorrow for the #18!
