I felt it could be a reminder of a tragic event in human history and take a stand against fascism, but it is a somewhat ambiguous concept and too sensitive.
That said, I started to create freely without any topic in mind. I experimented with colors, shapes, and layers and tried halftones on Apollo’s picture. After finishing the design, the name Purple Odyssey came to my mind. I also remembered that odd can mean strange. I played with words by mixing Odd and Odyssey…
