Apollo 10 X The Glitch

This Poster Design is a total experimentation with many different kind of blur effect with the goal of reaching the glitch.

I start by finding the right proportion for the centered rectangle. I duplicate for times apollo around it. Then, I made an ugly colorful gradient that I quickly change for a more subtile effect on the pictures.
I wanted to attract the viewers eyes in the center by applying a back-and-forth motion from the outside to the inside’s poster with the X

When I created blur effect on the pictures I duplicated them and apply another blur effect over, inside, superimposed… Sometimes I repeated the process many times in different ways until I get satisfaction — Ok, something visually acceptable. I wanted to create a strong impression of focus and speed on the poster. On the way I made something strange with Apollo’s heads. They look like a crowd of people as if they are gohst.
