Anatomy of a Gust 4 — Day 265
The gust seems to lift from below, carrying fragments of blue, charcoal, ochre, and peach towards the open ivory space above. In Anatomy of a Gust 4, dense crossings gradually give way to scattered teal and yellow gestures, as though the movement were loosening its grip. My eye travels through the crowded lower passages, catches on a long looping line, then follows it into a quieter opening. I enjoy that change of pace: some marks seem caught together, while others appear briefly suspended, ready to drift beyond the composition.
