Anatomy of a Gust 2 — Day 263
A bright yellow passage breaks through the greys, carrying the eye towards coral strokes gathered above. A sweep of navy pulls in another direction, while brown loops slip through the spaces between them. In Anatomy of a Gust 2, the movement seems to encounter resistance: shapes press together, turn, and open into pale stretches of ivory.
I like how the broad areas of colour give weight to something as fleeting as a gust. Smaller, tangled marks disturb their edges, keeping the composition unsettled. Following them, I find moments of pressure and release, as though the air were briefly taking shape before finding another way through.
