Creative poster design number 393 Photograph 164

About the Poster

As the title’s poster says, I selected picture number 164 on Pexels. At first glance, the picture didn’t inspire me, but finally, I adapted myself to its shapes and style.
I was about to use a gradient as a background to reflect the confetti around him and its shiny gloss. Fortunately, I stopped exploring more about that style because it didn’t work at all, and it wasn’t lovely.

I got a better idea and surprised myself with it. I decided to re-use the confetti by creating them with a shape made with the pen tool. I created my path on the picture with the form I wanted and copied past this part to automatically create a new layer with the new “handmade” confetti.
I repeated that process with many other shapes and placed them here and here on the canvas until I had something satisfying and good-looking.
