Obscurity Poster #270

Be late with only one design brings so many troubles! Today, I had to create and write two posters. It is painful. Also, the wifi is so slow these days that every action I do with the internet takes hours. That’s terrible; you can’t imagine if you never had to deal with that.

The Design

I am glad to introduce you this new design because it is a minimalist, and a bit risky to present a design where you see nothing. My grandmother would like to say that I am sure. It is not obvious; it is conspicuous, uncertain, mysterious, and meticulous. I let the viewer in the dark; this is oppressive, a bit aggressive. Your eyes are lost and ask your brain: do you see something? No, look at closer eyes! Oh, yes, I found it. And the brain to answer: Of course!

I Created a large circle with a dark grey color. I duplicated this layer and passed a Gaussian Blur on the shape, and copy three times the Gaussian Blur to allow you to see something. I only wanted to make the effect stronger. I merged these layers and set the Blend Mode under Noise. Without forget to hit Command T to warp the form and manipulate the anchor point as I wanted.

I repeated these proceed a second time for the black shape inside the dark grey form. I made adjustments on the color of the grey for a darker one. And then, I added the text in between. No more, no less!

Speed Art Poster #270

It was a busy day, but a nice one to create two posters. Same if the amount of work is two times more, I am pleased to design them, and I hope you feel it when you see them.

If you enjoy to look at today’s poster; you will like to watch me working on the speed art video I made.
I invite you tomorrow to take a look at the creation number 271!
