I am glad to welcome you to the third poster of the mini-series titled “Transition“. Today’s design is an exploration about style and compostion of the previous creations.
The Design
Same style and process than the two previously made posters except for the colors and the composition. On today’s poster I made it look like a cross with the distorted effect of Apollo as well as the white lines. The elements follow a 45° angle except the typography.
I Think poster Transition 3 is successful because of its dynamism. You don’t know where the pictures start and where they finish. The light aqua blue and the darker blue naturally works well together and helps the poster to look good and fresh.
I used the same trick than yesterday such as select only a little part of the picture of Apollo, and extend it over the canvas. It brings a touch of weirdness that is welcome for that poster’s style, and add a strong visual interest to the overall meaning too.
