Here we are for a new poster mini-series that I named “Transition”. I liked yesterday’s design and I decided to continue this style exploration.
The Design
I used the same process than yesterday to create Transition number 2. But, same if it wasn’t new, I successfully surprised myself when I extended a small part of the eye of Apollo. The result was amazingly weird. I was looking at this details some second, so I wasn’t excepting that, and so the effect was nice.
In case if nobody noticed, I changed the colors of the design. I selected a dark and a light blue to see what happens. I tried some dark and light blues colors before finding a correct match, and then, I started the design.
One of the goals with the poster mini-series is to push my idea further. You have to understand there is that after creating some similar poster with the same style, it becomes more difficult to find new stuff or arrangement with the element. The mini-series is like a mini-challenge in the bigger challenge. At the first time, I am delighted to copy yesterday’s style because it takes less time, but after number 5 it is more difficult.
Speed Art Poster #253
I tried to take a free day from my work and guess what? I can’t! Same if I spend most of the day trying to find something I can do with a strong hurt on my elbow, I didn’t find. So, I worked on my projects.
The Speed Art Video #252 is as usual, available to watch on Youtube if you are curious about the process of Transition #2 Poster. I am going to sleep! See you tomorrow for poster #254!
