Ascent is a study of upward movement—an abstract form rising through fragments, brush marks, and bursts of light. The cool blues and pale tones create a feeling of air and distance, while the darker strokes anchor the piece with weight and tension. I wanted it to feel like something in transformation: unstable, alive, and still pushing higher. It sits between structure and instinct, like a shape building itself in motion.
