Polar Breath 2 extends my exploration of the winter sensations of this early year. Here I add more color and material, like bursts of cold air colliding with calmer zones. Rapid gestures, layered marks, and bright flashes convey the wind, the numbness, and also the search for warmth—fragile, persistent—at the heart of the landscape.
