Rain Poster #205

I let my imagination goes everywhere and I I come up with a new and fresh poster design freely made without constraints — except use Apollo’s Picture and Molde Typeface!

The Design

As often with Apollo 365° self-imposed challenge, I have no idea about what I will create. Same for me it is a surprise in the end. Sometimes it is a good strategy, and sometimes it is not. This strategy pays today because the poster has depth, it is playful and visually attractive.

As you will notice if you take a look at the speed art video, I was about to create something which looks like different than the one I finally created. I made some large grey rectangles on the background, and I started to cut inside Apollo’s head with no reason until I notice it.

Then I start over and place several of Apollo’s head on each other with different sizes. I had a title with a white rectangle and added larger types in between. To finalize the design I added two colors to two statues and thin rectangles in blue and red as a raining background.

I was researching aestheticism with this design and ideas cames one by one during I was doing the design.

Speed Art Poster #205

Today was a hot day to design Rain Poster. As usual, you can take a look at the Speed Art Video #205 to see the steps I made from the start to the end of the creation process.
See you tomorrow for poster number 206!
