The poster creation number two of the freshly created mini-series named Aurora Graphics.
The Design
I started this poster in a pretty bad way as you will notice in the video below. I painted circles with the Brush Tool and play them with the Filter Liquify. I tried to give them a color effect and tried many different blending modes without finding the perfect setting, and until I did something very dark.
Then, I started over, and I used Apollo’s picture to liquify it and find an elegant form to compose with. I added some blend mode, a Gaussian Blur background behind the form to suggest a distance.
After that I added a large font. The principal challenge of this poster was about to find the right balance between the colors.
Speed Art Poster #177
I met some new difficulties to register my Quicktime Player files on my computer. Don’t ask me why, because I didn’t understand the reason. So, I find a way to make the Speed Art Video number 177 about today’s poster creation.
Come back tomorrow for the poster 178!
