The poster #106 is a minimalist and dark design with colorful and bright geometric shapes.
The design
These days, I am sketching to generate more ideas and feel more confident about my design. Sketching is magic! They take a little time to make; they free your mind, and they inspire me when I look at them three days later!
That said, I use rectangles around the corners for this composition to set the focus in the center. I used dark colors just because I wanted to do something with some touches of eccentric and bright geometric shapes. The difficulties with light are the reflection and repercussions on other elements. Especially when you have to deal with a picture that already has a lighting source; in other words, integrating the bright forms and Apollo’s head was the most challenging part of the job.
Speed Art Poster #106
I don’t know where I spent the most time on the poster challenge—designing or putting everything online. Whatever, here is the speed art video #106. Thank you for watching, and see you tomorrow for poster number 107!
